Canada2022 Colt
I received my 2022 colt within 4 days of ordering it on line and had little trouble putting it together, the assembly instructions I got on line were from 2020 so the bike went together differently but I was able to figure it out. The weather has not been to great for riding since my bike was ordered in March but the little I've been out on it has been fun. Looking forward to warmer weather so I can go on longer rides
Canadacould be sturdier
I'm glad I have a new chain guard again. The original guard that came with my bike in 2020 cracked near the bottom screw so I replaced it in Dec. 2020. The 2nd one cracked in Feb. 2022 at the same spot near the bottom screw. Upon installing this new one, I noticed that the bottom hole on the guard is mis-aligned by a few mm. As the whole piece is plastic I could have forced it but realized that was probably why the first 2 broke at the same spot. Instead I used a piece of wire to hold the bottom in place without putting stress on the guard. In any case the whole thing could be made a bit sturdier in my opinion.

I’ve purchased my surface 604 colt in May 2020 and it finally arrived in middle August of the same year. The wait was worth it! In the intervening year and a half since I received my bike I have written it over 5200 km in heat, and cold, occasionally and rain and a few times and snow. No matter the weather or the conditions my colt performs flawlessly. As a matter of fact, I find if I’m going out for a little errand on my bike that I will take the longest route to get where I’m going and when I am coming home because it is just so much fun to ride. I have been stopped in numerable times by people wanting to ask questions about the bike. On occasion I even let someone ride around the parking lot just to see how they liked it. In every situation as soon as they started peddling a great big smile came on their face . If you are new to a Bikes and all the terms that go along with them then you may be confused by the different types of pedal assist. I lucked out when I ordered my 604 colt because it has torque pedal assist which seems to react to how much pressure you’re putting on the pedals. I have ridden a bike with cadence pedal assist, the other way of doing it, and it’s not nearly as fun or responsive as torque. Just having this kind of pedal assist is a reason to buy from Surface 604 I have had a couple occasions where I needed to contact customer support at surface 604. Every time I contacted service they answered immediately with good advice on whatever my question happens to be. I do have some vision problems and when I mentioned that to Mitchell a customer service he called me to walk me through a procedure. This is wonderful customer service.
