I did a lot of investigating before settling on the Shred and so happy I did , Im a big guy at about 270 lbs but going down and wanted a good stout bike and after about 2 months and 700 kms I'm ecstatic with my purchase , my commute is 32 kms each way with a mixture of dirt trail and pavement and I make the trek in appr. 1 hour using pedal assist 3 ( and I pedal the whole way, really try not to use the throttle at all )and when I get to work I have appr. 30 to 35 % battery power left from a 14 AH battery which is not enough to get me home so I carry the charger with me which is no big deal as its not very big or heavy . When I go out on weekend fun rides I use pedal assist 2 and can ride for almost 2 hours and still have some battery left . So far I haven't had to take it in to the shop for any gear or cable adjustments . Its a pretty upright and comfortable ride and the tires that come on it are great and grippy on dirt and pavement and some slippery bridges I cross have been no issue at all , just waiting for some fenders that my dealer ordered in for me to come in and the bike will be complete .
